Introductory Course on Traditional Calligraphy Culture

This course combines foundational calligraphy training with an introduction to traditional writing culture, making it ideal for students interested in the history of calligraphy and its primary script styles. The instructor will introduce the characteristics of Seal Script, Clerical Script, Regular Script, Semi-cursive Script, and Cursive Script. Using model characters, the instructor will explain the differences in strokes, character shapes, and overall layout across these styles. Lessons include demonstrations of basic writing techniques, practice copying simple characters, and reviews of the material covered.
