Foundational *Lishu* (Clerical Script) Experience Course

Designed for students wishing to explore Clerical Script, this course introduces the script’s characteristic character shapes, common stroke executions, and overall structural principles. The instructor will highlight the differences between Clerical Script and other common styles using model characters and guide students through practice exercises involving basic strokes (such as horizontal, vertical, left-slanting, and right-slanting strokes) and simple Chinese characters. The class structure includes an introduction to the script, demonstrations and explanations, individual character practice, and a review session to help students gain a preliminary understanding of Clerical Script. Required supplies, practice materials, and scheduling for on-site sessions can be arranged during the booking process.
