1. Scope
This Policy applies to appointment-based, in-person calligraphy lessons booked through our website.
All appointments are subject to availability and written confirmation. Customers should review this Policy, the relevant service description and the Terms of Service before completing a booking.
2. Booking Deposits
All prices displayed on this website represent booking deposits only, unless expressly stated otherwise in the relevant service listing.
The deposit is credited towards the total lesson price. The full price, deposit amount and any outstanding balance will be communicated before the booking is finalised.
The treatment of a deposit following cancellation depends on the circumstances, the agreed booking conditions and applicable law. A deposit will not automatically be forfeited in every cancellation situation.
3. Customer Cancellation
Customers wishing to cancel an appointment should email calligra@inklessonly.com and include their booking reference, scheduled appointment date and cancellation request.
Customers should submit cancellation requests as early as reasonably possible. The date and time the request is received may be used to establish the applicable cancellation notice period, subject to statutory rights.
Any cancellation charge must have been disclosed before booking, have a lawful basis and be proportionate to the circumstances. Refunds will be assessed in accordance with this Policy, the Terms of Service and applicable law.
4. Rescheduling an Appointment
Customers may request to change their appointment date, time or agreed location by emailing calligra@inklessonly.com.
Please include the existing appointment details and the preferred alternative arrangement.
All change requests are subject to availability and written confirmation. An alternative appointment is not confirmed until written confirmation has been issued.
Where a requested change affects the agreed service scope or total price, the revised arrangements and any applicable additional charge will be communicated for agreement before they take effect.
5. Short-Notice Changes and Missed Appointments
Customers should notify us promptly if they expect to arrive late, cannot attend or need to change the agreed location.
Where a customer does not attend the confirmed appointment or is unavailable at the agreed location, the matter will be assessed under the booking conditions disclosed before payment.
Any amount retained for a missed appointment must be supported by the applicable contractual terms and permitted by law. Statutory cancellation, withdrawal and refund rights remain unaffected.
6. Cancellation by Us
If we need to cancel a confirmed appointment, we will notify the customer as soon as reasonably practicable.
Depending on the circumstances, we may offer an alternative appointment or refund the relevant amount due. Where a refund is required by law or the agreed terms, it will be processed within the applicable legal period.
Customers are not required to accept a proposed alternative where they are entitled to another remedy under applicable law.
7. Statutory Withdrawal Rights
For eligible online service contracts with consumers in the European Union, a statutory withdrawal period generally applies for 14 days from the date the contract is concluded, subject to applicable national law and statutory exceptions.
Where a customer expressly requests that a lesson begin during the withdrawal period, any required consent, acknowledgement and payment for services already provided will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
The right of withdrawal may cease after the service has been fully performed only where the relevant statutory requirements have been satisfied.
Customers wishing to exercise an applicable withdrawal right should contact calligra@inklessonly.com with their booking details and a clear statement of their decision to withdraw.
Nothing in this Policy excludes or restricts any mandatory statutory right.
8. Refund Processing
Where a refund is due, the amount will be determined in accordance with the applicable booking terms and law.
Refunds will be processed within the period required by applicable legislation. Any permitted deduction must have a lawful basis and will be explained to the customer where required.
Customers may be asked to provide their booking reference and relevant correspondence to help identify the transaction and process the request.
9. Changes to This Policy
This Policy may be updated to reflect changes to our booking arrangements or applicable legal requirements. The current version will be published on this website.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights already acquired under a confirmed booking.
